I don’t mind atmosphere or lack of if I am just here for the food. I ordered a tuna poke with white rice and avocado. No sauce. I think I offended the young man at the cashier because he looked up and at me like I must have misspoke. I said no sauce again and paid. The bowl was good except for the avocado which I paid an extra $2.50 for the privilege. I almost chipped my tooth on the greenest avocado ever put on a plate. It’s just a Poke bowl and nothing special about it, the place, or the bored staff.
Stopped in for breakfast after some morning beach time. I was pretty excited to find a place that wasn't just vegetarian friendly, but specialised. We got a poke bowl and a vegetarian burrito that were serviceable but not spectacular. Definitely better options out there and I don't think this would make my list for stops on a return visit.
I was not impressed, unfortunately. Serving sizes were decent but flavour was completely lacking. I got the vegan special and the main part of the meal was soooo bland. The avocado was also extremely brown and really unappetising. My parter got the vegan chilli dog (with regular cheese) and the only good part was the hot dog, which would have been store bought so that’s not really a compliment. I had really high hopes for this place and maybe I just didn’t choose a good dish but I was very disappointed. Staff were also very unenthused and I honestly feel very uncomfortable leaving tips when food and service are lacking.
First time here and I was basically happy with the food. I originally thought it was more of a store based just off of their name but it truly isn't. It has some small grab items but it's more of a small sit down / take away place offering basic vegan food options. I had the vegan special $11.50. It was good though basic and I left hungry.
Just ate their tofu and avocado sandwich which wasn't too bad and price it's okay.
They do have vegetarian dishes and seafood. I would go back and try the other vegan items on the menu.
Service is super quick too!
Very fresh Ahi poke, good Acai sorbet bowl! (There was a Japanese written menu too!)
Great place for local gluten free food. Celiac friendly. Spicy tuna bowl is fantastic
Quality of poke bowls has gone down some, not sure about cleanliness too, smoothies are decent, the one pictured is an avocado, banana, berry smoothie which cost a total of $6.81, all single use plastic also which is my fault for buying and supporting
